Introducing the hard to find, vintage 32 Row Read Pleater – a remarkable tool for creating stunning smocking designs with ease. With its unique design and precision engineering, this pleater allows you to achieve 32 rows of exquisite smocking.
As with all the pleaters I sell, this machine is preloved, but is in very good condition. I have checked it over and it turns smoothly. The brass rollers are oxidised (dull) but this does not affect the performance of the machine. As with several of the Read pleaters I see, the left hand side plastic locking mechanism has a small piece broken off. Again, this does not affect the performace of the machine, but I wanted to point it out to you in case it is important to you.
I will include one back issue of Australian Smocking and Embroidery magazine.
