Keep your heirloom sewing projects moving smoothly with brand new, authentic Read smocking pleater needles. Made from high-quality steel, these genuine replacement needles are designed specifically for precision fabric pleating and long-lasting durability.

Machine Compatibility

These needles are fully compatible with:

• Read 24 Row Pleaters: These are genuine Read needles, designed to fit the standard 24 row Read pleater, and the larger 32 row Read pleater.
• Read 32 Row Pleaters: These are genuine Read needles, designed to fit the large 32 row Read pleater, and the smaller 24 row Read pleater.

** If your Read pleater has a RED sticker under the base, you should choose the “RED sticker” needles only.

**Important Note:** These needles *do not* fit any Sally Stanley or Amanda Jane smocking pleaters, and they do not fit the little Read 16 row pleaters.

** To maintain perfect tension and prevent needle breakage, it is highly recommended to use the same needle brand across your entire machine roller.
